This International Disaster Response Activity from Oxfam America is part of Stand Up 2010 -- an international day of standing up against poverty. When world leaders gather at the United Nations for the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) Review Summit in September, the voices of their citizens will follow them, telling them, loudly and clearly: “We will no longer stay seated or silent in the face of poverty and the broken promises to end it!” Add your voice with us on September 18th.

Hosted by Oxfam Action Corps Minnesota, the American Refugee Committee, CHIP, ONE Twin Cities, and the University of Minnesota's Students' International Health Committee. Help spread the word about this exciting event. Click here to download a pdf of the flyer.

If possible, RSVP to Oxfam Actions Corps Minnesota at minnesota@oxfamactioncorps.org and check 'attending' on the event's Facebook page.

Hope to see you there!
