Jam with Oxfam in February 2014!
Come join us at the Oxjam Music Festival, an
unforgettable evening featuring both the music of local artists and information
about Oxfam’s work to hold food and beverage companies accountable to farmers
in developing countries.
Oxfam is tackling the issue of land grabs – the
taking of land from farmers and indigenous peoples by big companies. This land is then often taken out of
agricultural production, in countries where people struggle with obtaining enough
food to eat. To learn more about the
impact of land grabs on farmers, please read our World Food Day 2013 blog,
further below.
