Transportation on Tap: Food and Transit

Last night the Oxfam Action Corps - MN partnered with Transit for Livable Communities (TLC) for their monthly "Transportation on Tap" event at The Republic.

Our very own Matt Malecha was asked to speak on the nexus of food and transportation: how does our transportation system affect our food supplies, and how does the conventional big-ag food system affect our transportation system?

 

 

Both locally and around the world, the poor are hit the hardest by transportation and food costs.

We have hope that by partnering with organizing such as TLC, we can raise awareness on how the poorest of the poor are affected by our food and transportation systems.
