Events such as these are especially timely because legislation that could fund critical adaptation projects to help the world's most vulnerable communities. In the US House, a discussion draft of the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009 (ACES) calls for such funding. ACES will first be heard during the week of April 20 in the Energy and Environment Subcommittee Hearings.
