Nobel Opportunities Near

The Nobel Peace Prize Forum at Saint Olaf College from March 6 - 7 is quickly approaching. You may register through Wednesday, February 26. As described in our last post, this is a rare opportunity to meet and learn from from internationally-respected authorities on climate change, including Oxfam America Vice President Jim Lyons. Discounts may be available so register today! If you are coming from the Twin Cities, contact us for possible carpool arrangements.

The Forum will also feature Majora Carter. Ms. Carter is a pioneer in green jobs and an expert on the intersection of climate change, public health, and poverty. The Minnesota International Center is hosting an important breakfast event with Ms. Carter, titled Green the Ghetto - How it Won't Cost Us Much, at IDS Center in Minneapolis on March 6 from 8 am - 9:15 am. Please visit the Minnesota International Center's website for more information and registration details. If you can't make it to Northfield for the Forum, consider coming to IDS Center to meet Ms. Carter.

Take advantage of the world coming to Minnesota for the Nobel Peace Prize Forum by attending the forum and/or Green the Ghetto with Ms. Carter. Oxfam Action Corps - Minnesota is honored to play a role in these exciting events.
