Our Next 100 Days

We have set ambitious goals for the next 100 days. By intensifying our outreach efforts, we aim to keep the plight of the world's poor on the crowded political agenda. These goals include:
  • Having a strong presence at the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize Forum at Saint Olaf College in Northfield;
  • Connecting to hundreds at three concerts;
  • Introducing the Sisters on the Planet at ten screenings;
  • Participating in two major events;
  • Tabling at two or more other events.
We are on our way to meeting these goals as planning progresses toward participation in the National Teach-In on Global Warming Solutions on February 5 at 7pm at the Bell Museum, the 21st annual Nobel Peace Prize Forum on March 6-7 at Saint Olaf College, and the 14th annual International Women's Day Celebration at the U of M's Coffman Union on March 14. However, we need your help to meet our 100 day goals toward keeping lasting solutions to poverty and injustice on the agenda. Can you host or organize a Sisters on the Planet screening? Are you interested in volunteering at an event? Other ideas about events for Oxfam Action Corps - MN? Let us know by getting in touch at minnesota@oxfamactioncorps.org
